Responsibilities

• Lead enhancement of investment risk monitoring framework and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee core investment operations: capital calls, settlement, reconciliation, cash management, reporting.
• Prepare timely investment performance and financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Coordinate implementation of investment decisions and onboarding of new investments.
• Coordinate with external service providers (Administrators, etc.) and review their outputs.
• Support investment team and senior leadership across departments to ensure service excellence.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.

As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we're strengthening our investment operations team. Within this team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising daily investment operations, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with risk guidelines. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting implementation of the organization's investment strategy.

• Risk Compliance Leading the enhancement of investment risk monitoring framework and ensuring compliance with risk policies and guidelines.
• Daily Operations Management Oversee the execution of core investment operations processes such as capital call settlement, reconciliation, cash management, and reporting. Ensure that all activities are performed in line with established procedures and timelines.
• Management Reporting Lead coordination with external investment partners to receive information in order to prepare timely investment performance and financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annually).
• Implementation of Investment program Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of investment decisions. Coordinate operational aspects of new investment and strategies, including onboarding and integration.
• Coordination with external service providers Lead coordination with service providers (Administrator and others), review and provide feedback on their work streams.
• Team building and support Collaborate and support investment team, Senior leadership and other internal departments (i.e. legal, finance etc.) in respect to implementation of investment program and addressing queries, resolving issues and achieving a high level of service delivery.
• Process Improvement Continuously assess and enhance operational workflows to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and support scalability. Lead or participate in projects aimed at automating or streamlining processes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred Qualifications CFA, CA, ACCA, MBA, or FRM certification.
• Ideal Candidate Profile Demonstrated experience in investment administration, IFRS-compliant accounting, investment risk management, and portfolio performance reporting. Prior experience within a Family Office, Investment House, Investment Advisory Firm, or a Big Four audit firm is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of investment operations, financial reporting, and governance best practices.
