Job description

Hays are currently partnered with an international maritime company in their search for an Investment Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi.

Role Responsibilities : Reporting to the Investment Director, this role involves creating detailed investment presentations and complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.

It also includes conducting comprehensive market research and industry analysis to identify strategic expansion opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives, as well as analysing the performance of acquired companies and assets, assessing value realisation, and recommending optimisation measures.

Additionally, the role includes collaborating with various internal departments to prepare analyses for business cases and strategic initiatives, and presenting investment proposals to senior leadership, investment committees, and other stakeholders.

Candidate requirements :

  • Ideally CFA Charter holders with a degree in Business, Economics or related subjects.- Strong financial modelling, presentation, analytical and deal support skills required.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience working in Big 4, bulge bracket investment banking or elite boutique investment firms.
  • Transaction experience in oil & gas, shipping and logistics is desirable.
