Private Markets Fund Research - Associate

Dubai, DIFC

We are working with a multi-billion-dollar global investment management firm specialising in outsourced discretionary portfolio management for institutional investors, portfolio advisory/solutions, and investment fund due diligence. Due to continued growth through new LP relationships and delegated client mandates, the firm is looking to hire a Private Markets Fund Research Associate to join its Middle Eastern team in Dubai.

In this role, you will focus on allocating and researching Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Assets GPs, providing critical insights to drive investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate private market investment opportunities through qualitative research and financial analysis.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analyses.
• Perform due diligence, including third-party research and reference calls.
• Summarise findings in investment memos and present recommendations.
• Manage internal databases, track investments, and monitor performance.
• Contribute to private markets research and business development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in fund selection across Private Equity, Private Credit, or Real Assets.
• Strong financial analysis and investment due diligence skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
