Job summary

Tanqeeb, based in the UAE, seeks an Associate for Venture & Growth Capital to join in Dubai with travel to Europe. The role supports M&A on portfolio deals, builds financial models, and drives the investment thesis from concept to launch-ready stage.

You will lead diligence on direct and seed opportunities, preparing memos and valuation papers across media, consumer, financial services and technology, and work with portfolio management on strategic market insights.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Technology & Media sector (TMT).
• 4-8 years in Private Equity or Venture Capital.
• Experience executing deals in Europe.
• Exposure to a family office environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A execution on portfolio-level mergers and acquisitions, including valuation work, deal structuring, and due diligence coordination.
• Lead diligence on direct and seed-stage opportunities, producing investment memos, valuation models and recommendations across media, consumer, financial services and technology.
• Build and maintain financial models including three-statement forecasts, multi-entity consolidations, cash flow and returns analyses.
• Develop the investment thesis, financial model and screening framework for a new sector-focused investment vehicle.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management on commercial strategy, market research, brand positioning and turnaround planning.

About the Role

Support M&A execution on portfolio-level mergers and acquisitions, including valuation challenge work, deal structuring, financial due diligence coordination and counterparty negotiation support. Lead diligence on direct and seed-stage opportunities, producing investment committee memos, valuation models and recommendation papers across media, consumer, financial services and technology. Build and maintain financial models including three-statement forecasts, multi-entity consolidations, cash flow and returns analysis, and bespoke revenue models for new commercial structures. Developed the investment thesis, financial model and screening framework for a new sector-focused investment vehicle from concept to launch-ready. Work directly with portfolio company management on commercial strategy, category and market research, brand positioning and turnaround planning.

Qualifications

Must be experienced in the Technology & Media sector.4-8 years of experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital. Experienced in executing deals in Europe. Ideally, someone with exposure to a family office environment.
