Role Title: Investment Analyst

Contract Duration: 6 Months Extendable

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities by analysing financial statements, business models, market conditions, and competitive landscapes.
• Help develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial health and growth potential of target companies.
• Support comprehensive due diligence efforts, including financial, operational, and market assessments, to identify risks and opportunities.
• Conduct preliminary industry and market research to understand trends, growth drivers, and potential risks.
• Help prepare investment reports and presentations, summarizing findings and recommendations to facilitate investment decision-making process.
• Work closely with the investment team and external advisors to support the investment process.
• Assist in monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, providing ongoing analysis and reporting to ensure alignment with investment goals.
• Participate in special projects and analyses as required to support strategic initiatives.
• Assist in performing company valuations using various methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or related roles. Internships or relevant academic projects are a plus.
• Proficient in financial modelling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel). Familiarity with investment research platforms and databases is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present investment findings clearly and concisely.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
