Job summary

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks a Senior Manager - Investment AI Platform to translate investment workflows into product requirements and clear analytical standards.

You will work with product, engineering, AI, growth, and client investment teams, owning modules from screening to portfolio monitoring and reporting. This is a permanent, individual-contributor role with high ownership, requiring precise communication and strong judgment in a fast-moving product environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in private equity, private credit, growth equity, or institutional investing.
• Proven ability to prepare and defend investment committee materials.
• Experience with data rooms, diligence trackers, and portfolio reporting.
• Strong investment judgment and analytical scepticism.
• Ability to explain investment reasoning to engineers, AI practitioners, designers, and executives.
• Experience shaping decisions through evidence in cross-functional or committee settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Nice-to-have: CFA/CAIA or progress toward one.
• Experience with AI-assisted research, diligence, or document-analysis tools.
• Experience with sovereign wealth funds or regional institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Define how (in)Alpha modules should behave against real investment practice.
• Author and maintain reference artefacts guiding product development.
• Backlog refinement with product and engineering on scope and edge cases.
• Pressure-test features against fund governance and committee dynamics.
• Review AI-generated memos, summaries, metrics, and source evidence for accuracy.
• Define the quality bar for analytical outputs and establish evaluative criteria.
• Identify plausible but incorrect outputs and drive resolution with clear ownership.
• Set standards for citation, traceability and source transparency.
• Lead investment-domain contributions to product demonstrations and client discussions.
• Run design-partner relationships end to end and convert evidence into product input.
