Job summary

FashionUnited in Dubai is seeking a stock associate responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing merchandise for the shop. You will count stock physically and electronically to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.

Responsibilities include classifying and stocking products, tagging arrivals, assisting sales staff with shelf replenishment, and supporting stock takes. Must be physically fit with ability to lift at least 10 kg and work extended hours during sales periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically for accuracy.
• Inspect product quality and report discrepancies to store management/assistant store manager about damaged products.
• Classify and stock products in the stock room per store procedures to ensure quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock and/or return products as per instruction of senior.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing stocks on shelves to ensure availability at all times.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without negligence.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.
• Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale/Festival period.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy weights (minimum 10 kg).
• Record inventory inward/outward and maintain reports of the same.
• Check for missing price tags and report them.
• Assist during Stock Take processes.
