Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage and optimize inventory operations within our furniture warehouse . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control specific to the furniture industry , with a hands-on approach to maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency..

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate records of all stock movement in and out of the warehouse
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure product availability
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and tracking of all furniture items
  • Generate and distribute regular inventory reports to management
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to reduce losses and damages

Requirements

Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho, WMS)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
  • Familiar with barcode / RFID scanning systems

Knowledge :

  • Understanding of warehouse layout and storage practices for furniture items
  • Awareness of safety regulations and proper handling techniques, especially for heavy or fragile products

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Strong communication and team collaboration
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly in stock discrepancy resolution
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus
