Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Inventory Controller to manage and monitor stock levels of
automobile spare parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, ensuring timely stock replenishment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations in line with business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor accurate inventory levels of all automobile spare parts across warehouse and counter.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations to ensure system data matches physical stock.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure stock availability based on demand.
- Oversee goods receiving, storage, and dispatch processes in line with company standards.
- Manage stock entries in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Identify and report slow-moving, non-moving, or obsolete inventory items.
- Ensure FIFO/LIFO methods are followed appropriately during stock movement.
- Generate stock reports, shortage alerts, and stock aging summaries for management review.
- Investigate inventory variances, discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain organized storage and labeling systems to minimize picking errors.
- Support year-end audits and cycle counts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory control within the automotive spare parts industry.
- Strong knowledge of auto spare parts (Japanese, Korean, American, or European brands).
- Proficient in using inventory and warehouse management software/ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Automotive Engineering preferred.
