Inventory Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Controller to oversee stock management and ensure optimal inventory levels across our UAE operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and improving inventory accuracy while minimizing discrepancies and stock variances.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability and avoid overstocking
2. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes
3. Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and report variances promptly
4. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems
5. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to track inbound and outbound goods
6. Support forecasting and demand planning activities based on consumption trends
7. Analyze inventory turnover ratios and recommend optimization strategies
8. Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and audit requirements
9. Assist in setting and adjusting minimum and maximum stock levels
10. Prepare regular reports on inventory status, shrinkage, and performance metrics
11. Implement inventory control best practices to improve accuracy and reduce costs

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
3. Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
4. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
5. Familiarity with warehouse operations, logistics processes, and stock movement tracking
6. Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
7. Knowledge of UAE customs, import/export, and compliance regulations is an advantage
8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
