We are seeking an Interpretation & Creative Content Officer to supports the section in the development and production of creative content and interpretation experiences such as the mobile application, multimedia and interactive productions, and gamified experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage content production projects from Initiation to Project closure, ensuring a seamless collaboration, budget adherence, and timely delivery
- Optimize content production workflows to maintain content quality throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with Curatorial and Collection Management teams to compile and prepare scientific and museography documentation for sharing with suppliers and contractors, for content creation.
- Proactively co-ordinate and ensure effective follow up of the activities with various freelancers, including but not limited to: authors, translators, editors, graphic designers…
- Prepare content and review its integration on the CMS for the Museum Abu Dhabi App, aligning with gallery operations and artwork changes.
- Conduct regular testing for Museum Abu Dhabi App UX and feature enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communication teams to prepare assets for effective content and experience promotion.
- Establish and maintain liaison with suppliers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to project closure, overseeing production, work permits approvals, to drive timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Visitor Experience and Security teams to ensure comprehensive staff training on interpretation tools and experiences.
- Review and manage project timelines, budgets and invoicing, by maintaining oversight of production schedules for suppliers and contractors.
- Proactively identify opportunities for the growth of the section’s projects portfolio, exploring new initiatives and collaborations.
- Conduct benchmarking activities, to identify industry best practices, trends and new innovative approaches, making recommendation to Museum Abu Dhabi’s interpretive experiences.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the harmonization and consistency of content.
- Oversee and develop the archiving of all production deliverables, ensuring ease of access for future reference and project documentation.
- Report projects progress to management as needed.
Preferably with degree qualification, applicant must have an Interest in working with the public and museum audiences. Interest in development for exhibitions, events and learning programmes. Interest in working with objects and other interpretive assets. Fluency in Arabic and English
