A leading international trading firm in Dubai is seeking an International Accounting Specialist to handle daily data entry and ensure accurate fixed cost accounting. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years of experience in International Accounting. Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in International Accounting.
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting with interest in GAAP and IFRS.
  • Must not have military service obligation.

Responsibilities

  • Daily data entry and bookings in the ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely fixed cost & GL accounting.
  • Preparation of Monthly Provision, Fixed Asset, and Prepaid Reports.

Heidelberg Materials Trading is the international trading arm of the Heidelberg Materials Group, handling overseas dry-bulk products exports and imports. For our Dubai office, we are looking for exceptional talents to join our team as an;

International Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily data entry and bookings in the ERP system for all HMT companies.
  • Ensure accurate ,timely fixed cost & GL accounting.
  • Supporting of monthly fixed cost report.
  • Expense controls according to company policies and detailed fixed cost analysis.
  • Implementation of procurement module for fixed cost accounting.
  • Preparation of Monthly Provision , Fixed Asset and Prepaid Reports.
  • Check accuracy, integrity, completeness, consistency of financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and group requirements.
  • Accompany statutory and group audits.
  • Follow up legal matters and relations with internal and external legal attorneys and consultants.
  • Documentation and filing.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from a reputable university.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English is an asset.
  • 2-3 years of experience in International Accounting.
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting with strong interest in GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong customer focus (internal and external).
  • Result oriented and strong attention to detail.
  • Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible, take initiative and hard working.
  • Able to work in a complex and fast paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • No military service obligation.
