Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking an experienced Internal Compliance Manager to support the Senior Internal Compliance Manager in ensuring the organization adheres to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance standards.

This role is key to monitoring, assessing, and enhancing compliance frameworks, managing internal control processes, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in compliance, internal audit, or risk management.
• 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Investigation and report-writing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 37301, ISO 37001, COSO, etc.
• 1 year experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ members.
• Desirable: knowledge of local/international regulations, leisure/hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Monitoring & Oversight: implement monitoring plans, assess controls, track breaches, ensure corrective actions.
• Policy & Procedure Management: support policy development, update with regulatory changes, train employees.
• Risk Identification & Mitigation: identify risks, develop Internal Controls Framework, work with units to resolve issues.
• Coordination with Stakeholders: liaison between compliance and operations, coordinate audits and inspections.
• Reporting & Documentation: prepare reports and dashboards, document incidents and risk assessments.
• Training & Awareness: conduct training on compliance, fraud prevention, and ethics.

About the Role:

Miral is seeking an experienced Internal Compliance Manager to support our Senior Internal Compliance Manager in ensuring the organization adheres to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance standards. This role is key to monitoring, assessing, and enhancing compliance frameworks, managing internal control processes, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.

You will act as a bridge between operational teams and senior compliance leadership, providing oversight, advisory support, and actionable recommendations to strengthen compliance and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Monitoring & Oversight: Implement and manage compliance monitoring plans, conduct regular assessments of internal processes and controls, track compliance breaches, and ensure corrective actions.
• Policy & Procedure Management: Support policy development and rollout, ensure policies are updated with regulatory changes, and provide training and guidance to employees.
• Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify compliance risks and gaps, support the development of the Internal Controls Framework, and work with business units to resolve compliance issues.
• Coordination with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between compliance and operational teams, coordinate audits, regulatory inspections, and es - calate significant concerns.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare compliance reports and dashboards, document incidents and risk assessments, and contribute to executive-level reporting.
• Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions and campaigns on compliance, fraud prevention, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, or related field. CIA or CPA; professional certifications (CCEP, CIA, CISA, ISO 37301 Lead Implementer) preferred.
• Experience:
• 5–7 years in compliance, internal audit, or risk management, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Investigation and report-writing experience.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 37301, ISO 37001, COSO, etc.).
• 1 year experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ members.
• Desirable: Knowledge of local/international regulations, experience in theme parks, leisure, entertainment, or hospitality, and managing consultants.
