Job summary

Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to independently review assigned activities, evaluate controls, and report findings. You will design audit procedures, assess system effectiveness, analyze evidence, and support formal audit reports and corrective actions; mentoring junior staff as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a relevant professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, including 2 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / business management with relevant professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA/CIA).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience including minimum of 2 years internal audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Risk & Control Evaluation: Evaluate significant risks and internal controls for comprehensive audit coverage and compliance.
• Audit Procedure Design: Determine appropriate audit procedures, including sampling and use of data tools.
• System Effectiveness Assessment: Assess effectiveness of systems using best practices and standards.
• Evidence Analysis and Appraisal: Analyze evidentiary data to form objective opinions on adequacy.
• Audit Reporting: Prepare formal audit reports and express opinions on system effectiveness.
• Corrective Action Review: Assess adequacy of corrective actions taken.
• Team Supervision and Support: Guide and manage subordinates in audits.
