- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
- Process VAT returns, payroll calculations, and monthly financial reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier and receivable ledgers
- Support with budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and monthly closing processes
- Maintain compliance with UAE regulatory standards including FTA filings
Audit Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal and external audits for SMEs and corporate clients
- Examine financial records, reports, and operational procedures for accuracy and efficiency
- Identify potential compliance risks and propose recommendations
- Prepare audit documentation and communicate findings clearly to management and clients
- Assist with AML reviews, CT preparedness, and internal control assessments
Desired Candidate Profile
- bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA is a plus)
- 1–3 years of experience, preferably within an accounting and audit firm
- Fluency in Arabic is required (spoken and written), with strong English communication skills
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and AML compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks, Xero, or Excel
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Professional demeanor with a collaborative, client-focused approach
