Job Description

• Execute audit procedures, including reviewing and analyzing financial records, operational procedures, and internal controls.
• Audit financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Evaluate the adequacy of financial controls and recommend improvements.
• Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of hospital operations, including patient care, administrative functions, and support services.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to operations.
• Ensure the hospital's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate the security and integrity of information systems and data.
• Review the effectiveness of IT controls and assess the risks associated with technology use.
• Identify and investigate potential fraud, waste, or abuse within hospital operations.
• Develop and recommend strategies for fraud prevention and detection.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.
• Present audit results to senior management and the audit committee.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide advisory services to management on risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
