Intern to join
Sustainability in Jumeirah properties in Dubai. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Support the implementation of sustainability strategies by assisting with the integration of environmentally responsible practices across hotel operations, aligned with the company’s overall vision and goals.
- Collect and analyze sustainability-related data, including energy usage, water consumption, and waste generation, to help identify areas for improvement and support the development of performance reports.
- Assist in organizing awareness campaigns to engage colleagues and promote participation in sustainability initiatives throughout the hotel.
- Contribute to research and benchmarking efforts by exploring innovative solutions, industry best practices, and emerging trends that can enhance environmental performance.
- Help coordinate internal sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, resource conservation, and eco-friendly purchasing, while ensuring alignment with relevant guidelines and operational procedures.
About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- A student at a hospitality school or a recent graduate.
- Prior internship experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English; additional international languages are a plus.
