Internship Opportunity at DP World - HSE Department

The internship provides an opportunity to learn about group health, safety assurance, and risk management programs, along with associated Group HSE goals and targets, within the context of DP World’s operations across ports, terminals, and marine services.

1. Monitor the implementation of HSE audits and risk baseline programs.
2. Assist in developing and analyzing reports related to serious incidents to identify trends, solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
3. Support the promotion of best practices throughout the organization by working with key stakeholders and coordinating with SMEs to define standards.
4. Help raise awareness of the HSE strategy and zero harm philosophy at all organizational levels.
5. Assist Senior HSE Managers in implementing the Group HSE Plan and reporting on performance against it, aligning with OE HSE Plans.
6. Contribute to existing risk reduction projects within the group.
7. Assist in developing, writing, and maintaining reports, documents, and records related to DP World’s HSE management system, risk reduction, assessment programs, and safety initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting positive behaviors aligned with the company’s principles, values, and culture; ensure the highest safety standards are maintained; adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Recent graduates in safety, environmental, engineering, or business degrees.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about current trends in health, safety, and wellness.
