About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an intern to join the Health, Safety and Environment team in Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Assist in conducting internal HSE and food safety audits across all hotel outlets.
  • Support the team in preparing audit checklists, observations, and corrective action reports.
  • Participate in FSMS activities, including documentation and audit readiness tasks.
  • Help develop training materials, presentations, and flyers for HSE awareness among staff.
  • Engage in sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, or green procurement.
  • Conduct staff food safety quizzes and toolbox talks under supervision to promote a culture of safety.


About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Food Safety, Hospitality Management, or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Strong interest in health, food safety, and sustainability within the hospitality sector.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Fluency in English; additional international languages are a plus.
