About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Intern to join the Finance Team at Jumeirah properties in Dubai. The main duties include:

1. Providing colleagues and stakeholders with professional, accurate, and supportive finance interactions.
2. Assisting in preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
3. Learning and applying finance policies, procedures, and systems to answer internal queries and ensure compliance.
4. Supporting finance initiatives such as budget tracking, expense analysis, and process improvements.
5. Managing administrative tasks, maintaining financial records, organizing documentation, and assisting with system updates.
6. Upholding confidentiality, attention to detail, and service excellence to enhance the Finance department’s reputation.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Being a student at a hospitality school or a recent graduate.
2. Prior internship experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
4. Availability to start in August or September.
