Internship Opportunity in Energy Management and Decarbonisation at DP World

This internship provides an opportunity to learn about energy management and decarbonisation within DP World's operations, including ports & terminals, logistics, economic zones, and marine services.

1. Develop, implement, and monitor energy programs related to climate change mitigation, energy efficiency, and decarbonization projects.
2. Promote awareness of climate change issues across all organizational levels, emphasizing mitigation and energy strategies.
3. Contribute to ongoing climate change mitigation, energy, and environmental projects.
4. Assist in preparing reports, documents, and records related to DP World's climate and environmental initiatives.
5. Learn about auditing, analyzing, and reporting on carbon, energy, and environmental performance for internal and external stakeholders, including DJSI, CDP, and GRI.

Additional Responsibilities

• Act as a representative of DP World, embodying its principles, values, and culture; prioritize safety and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Current student pursuing engineering, environmental, or sustainability degrees.
• Passionate about global energy transition, energy efficiency, and decarbonization trends.
• Interest or experience in monitoring, reporting, and verification, renewable energy, energy efficiency, alternative fuels, GHG protocols, and carbon modeling.
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, report writing, computer literacy, and administrative skills.
