What You Will Do

• Provide dedicated support to UAE Intermediate Maintenance Contact Teams at the Central Maintenance Facility, assisting with testing, check‑out, repair, and maintenance of all PATRIOT major end items when Fire Unit problems exceed unit maintenance capabilities.
• Support PATRIOT system floating Major End Items at the CMF Depot.
• Assist in isolating hardware and software problems, perform fault isolation diagnostic procedures, and conduct on‑the‑job and informal training for UAE CMF Maintenance Technicians.
• Investigate complex electronic problems between hardware, software, and Battery Replaceable Units (BRUs) using electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self‑checks, BITE, and appropriate tools and test equipment.
• This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and is a short‑term assignment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in operation, sustainment, and operations of the Patriot Missile System Radar equipment; trained and knowledgeable in the operation, sustainment, and troubleshooting procedures of Patriot Radar Missile System equipment.
• Knowledge of operational/analytical software used on Patriot radar systems; experience using ECS troubleshooting software aids (Status Monitor, Switch 9, System Exerciser, Radar Action Cycler) to distinguish between digital and analog problems.
• Proficiency with common industry external test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, and digital analyzers; frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
• Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X/94S/948D6D or an equivalent course conducted by the military or the system contractor.
• Experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, including system integration and checkout.
• Ability to work in extreme desert heat environments and lift 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs and experience living and working in an overseas location.
• Five (5) years of Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience working on Configuration III+ Patriot Equipment.
• Demonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures and the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check‑out (SICO) process.
• Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes.
• Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support and comprehensive planning skills.
• Exceptional judgment and decision‑making skills; strong interpersonal skills with a focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associate’s Degree with 8 years experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
