AHS, a premier luxury real estate developer, is seeking an Interior Designer Manager (Execution) to join our talented design team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the execution phase of interior design projects, ensuring that design concepts are meticulously translated into high-quality finished spaces. You will lead a team of interior designers, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional results that exemplify luxury and sophistication.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of interior design projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines
- Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery of materials
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design intent
- Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to address and resolve design-related challenges
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Facilitate client meetings to keep stakeholders informed and align expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to incorporate best practices into execution processes
- Ensure that all designs meet regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Implement quality control measures to uphold AHS’s standards of excellence in interior design and interior finishing
- Reporting daily to VP of design discuss projects strategy and status of construction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on project execution and team management
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful project execution in luxury residential and commercial design
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and project management tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail
- Sound understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods related to interior design
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is preferred.
