Job Description
Fit-Out Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of tenant and landlord fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. The role involves liaising with tenants, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of fit-out works within commercial, retail, and residential properties.
Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Manage and oversee tenant fit-out processes from inception to completion.
Ensure all fit-out activities comply with building guidelines, lease agreements, and local regulations.
Coordinate between tenants, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
Review fit-out proposals, ensuring alignment with design standards and company requirements.
Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure that all fit-out works comply with safety regulations, health standards, and municipal codes.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to approved designs and schedules.
Address and resolve any non-compliance issues related to fit-out works.
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding fit-out requirements and procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to tenants and contractors throughout the fit-out process.
Coordinate approval processes for fit-out drawings, permits, and related documentation.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of fit-out applications, approvals, and completion reports.
Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management.
Ensure all required fit-out documents, including method statements, risk assessments, and permits, are submitted and approved.
Budget & Time Management:
Monitor project schedules and ensure fit-out works are completed within the agreed timeframe.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for fit-out projects, preventing cost overruns.
Address any project delays and work on solutions to mitigate risks.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce adherence to occupational health and safety regulations during fit-out works.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure necessary precautionary measures are taken on-site.
Work with safety officers to ensure compliance with workplace safety guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in fit-out coordination, project management, or construction supervision.
Strong knowledge of fit-out procedures, local building regulations, and safety standards.
Experience in commercial, retail, or residential fit-out projects.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software is an advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
