You will drive the lifecycle of a property renovation from initial scoping and budgeting, followed by concept design, through to construction and site works, and finally snagging upon handover. This role requires strong collaboration with external project management and contracting partners, as well as internal teams to drive Stake's growth and maintain our high operating standards. The objective is to deliver high-impact, photorealistic design solutions that maximize resale and rental value while meeting programme and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Lead the scoping and evaluation process for prospective Fix n Flip assets:
- Assess layout potential, value-add opportunities, and finish upgrades that align with budget and investor returns.
- Collaborate with acquisitions team to input on feasibility and design strategy early in the project lifecycle.
- Own the design direction:
- Brief and coordinate with external designers to ensure design outcomes align with brand, timeline, and commercial goals.
- Review concept packages, finishes palettes, mood boards, FF&E schedules, and renderings for quality and value optimisation.
- Project manage approvals and execution:
- Coordinate schematic and detailed design submissions by external consultants.
- Oversee permit processes, contractor onboarding, and procurement timelines in coordination with internal and external teams.
- Design guardianship and site supervision:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution fidelity, resolve constraints, and maintain quality.
- Ensure construction progress aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
- Support tendering, value engineering, and QA/QC:
- Review contractor bids, ensure alignment with design intent, and facilitate revisions when necessary.
- Maintain accountability for design quality and cost effectiveness across all stages.

What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in residential interior design, preferably on fast-turnaround renovation or value-add projects.
- Deep knowledge of UAE/GCC finishes, materials, and FF&E sources, plus familiarity with local authority approval processes.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines while preserving design integrity.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience reviewing technical drawings, FF&E, and CGI deliverables.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite for oversight and mark-ups (not for production).
