Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to develop and manage BIM models for interior design projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with architects and interior designers, ensuring all models are accurately integrated, and adhere to BIM standards. This role requires excellent skills in Revit and AutoCAD, alongside strong communication and coordination capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a BIM Technician, preferably with a consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM models for interior design projects.
• Coordinate with architects and designers for accurate model integration.
• Produce detailed design-stage drawings and documentation.

Job description

• Develop and manage BIM models for interior design projects during the design development stage.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and MEP teams to ensure accurate model integration.
• Produce detailed and coordinated design-stage drawings and documentation.
• Ensure BIM standards and workflows are adhered to across all project stages.
• Support the team in design reviews and clash detections using BIM tools.
• Modify models/drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing records.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a BIM Technician, preferably with a consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with other BIM and design tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
