Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Vacancy: 1 Vacancy

Job Description

  1. Identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for interior decoration and fit-out materials and services, including but not limited to furniture, fixtures, finishes, wall coverings, flooring, lighting, decorative elements, joinery, partitions, ceilings, and related consumables.
  2. Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to meet project schedules and specifications.
  3. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines.
  4. Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
  5. Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations and project requirements.
  6. Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, quality standards and cost-efficiency.
  7. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  8. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards.
  9. Maintain records of purchases, contracts and supplier communications.
  10. Work closely with project managers, designers and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project needs.
  11. Support the finance department in processing payments and resolving invoicing issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field. A relevant procurement/supply chain certification is an added advantage.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on interior decoration and fit-out materials and services procurement for construction or fit-out projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of interior design materials, fit-out elements, furniture and finishing specifications.
  4. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project management, design, logistics and finance.
  5. Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle or similar. MS Dynamics is an added advantage.
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
