Job summary

Dubai Design & Delivery Practice in Dubai is seeking a CAD / Revit Draftsman to join the technical team on a full-time basis. You will produce and coordinate technical drawing packages across live projects, working closely with design and project teams.

The role requires extensive experience with interior or fit-out projects, familiarity with UAE authority requirements, and proficiency in Navisworks, SketchUp and Enscape. Fluent English is essential, with Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills a plus.
• Diploma or degree in architecture, interior design or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drafting for design and delivery projects.
• Experience with fit-out or interior projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and life-safety drawing standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce GA plans, ceiling plans, flooring layouts and sections/elevations.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and architectural consultants to resolve clashes.
• Prepare drawing packages for authority submissions (DM, DDA or Trakhees as relevant).
• Manage drawing revisions, transmittals and document control.
• Take measurements and site information and turn them into drawings.
• Work to BIM standards and CAD layering conventions.
• Take direction from the Design Manager or Project Architect on priorities.

Our client is a well-established design and delivery practice in Dubai, working on commercial and office projects across the UAE. They are looking for a CAD / Revit Draftsman to join their technical team on a full-time basis.

The role

• Produce GA plans, ceiling plans, flooring layouts and sections/elevations
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and architectural consultants to resolve clashes
• Prepare drawing packages for authority submissions (DM, DDA or Trakhees as relevant)
• Manage drawing revisions, transmittals and document control
• Take measurements and site information and turn them into drawings

Requirements

• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, and civil defence/fire and life safety drawing standards
• Working knowledge of Navisworks or clash detection
• Basic SketchUp, Enscape or Adobe skills for markups and presentation
• Diploma or degree in architecture, interior design or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus
