A management consulting firm in Dubai is seeking an INTERIM CFO to oversee financial strategy and operations, particularly in real estate and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial leadership, a minimum of 15 years of experience, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This full-time role may require travel and has a 6-month engagement period with potential for a full-time position.
The client is a Management Consulting Company seeking an INTERIM CFO with experience in real estate and infrastructure development and leadership roles across mega city developments or destination projects. The role requires overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and operations of the company.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred. 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role (CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance) within real estate development, construction, or a related sector. Proven track record in fundraising, debt structuring, and managing relationships with investors and lenders. Strong knowledge of real estate project finance, investment modelling, and cash flow, along with financial governance, compliance, and risk management. Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Workload / Location
Full-time. Based in the UAE or Egypt. Requirement to travel to Egypt or UAE could come up at 2-3 days per week on average.
Start-date
Immediate need. The candidate needs to give availability within 15-20 days after Engagement Confirmation Letter.
Period of engagement
6 months, with potential to convert into a full-time role.
