Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Integration Architect with at least 3 years of experience to design, develop, and support messaging interfaces for IBM MQ message transmission between systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM MQ, ACE/IIB technology, and a solid understanding of CP4I fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Messaging Interfaces: Create secure channels between integrated systems and messaging platforms.
• Queue and Topic Management: Set up queues and topics to facilitate efficient message transfer.
• Security Implementation: Implement authentication and authorisation rules for MQ objects.
• SSL/TLS Configuration: Secure channels using SSL/TLS configuration to ensure data integrity and privacy.
• Development Activities: Demonstrate experience in development activities within ACE/IIB/MQ technology.
• CP4I Fundamentals: Ability to explain and apply the fundamentals of Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I).

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in integration architecture, specifically with IBM MQ and ACE/IIB.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting up and managing MQ queues and topics, implementing security measures, and configuring SSL/TLS.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of CP4I fundamentals.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
