Job summary

Remotedxb in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks an senior engineering leader to design and implement a cross-business Systems Installation & Commissioning framework for large-scale power plant projects.

You will drive risk assessment, coordinate I&C across GE Vernova units, and ensure safe, compliant delivery across design, installation and commissioning, engaging customers, EPC partners, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
15+ years of experience in complex power generation or grid infrastructure projects.
Proven experience managing installation risks across multi-technology or large-scale integrated energy projects.
Experience with commissioning large scale power plant projects and utility grid integration.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive cross-business project Systems Installation & Commissioning framework for large-scale integrated power plant projects.
Identify, assess, and mitigate cross-business installation risks throughout project development and delivery.
Lead structured system risk assessments (FMEA, HAZOP, PRA, etc.) across project phases.
Coordinate Systems I&C across GE Vernova business units to ensure an integrated approach to delivery.
Monitor systems installation aspects across design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders including customers, EPC partners, and suppliers.
Coordinate implementation of EHS and Quality policies across business units.
