Qualifications

Job Description
  • Identify opportunities and gather referrals for Investment and Insurance (I&I) sales within the Business Banking (BB) Team - BDOs/RMs. Present I&I products and their value to BB Clients. Profile each customer to understand their needs.
  • Promote the Investment / Insurance business and generate FER through the BB portfolio by cross-selling wealth products.
  • Educate and present I&I ideas, opportunities, and need analyses to the BB Team to generate referrals.
  • Support the primary fulfillment point for customer cross-sell of all I&I Products in Business Banking. Responsible for end-to-end sales and service for I&I products to BB.
  • Upsell, cross-sell, and provide regular market updates and trend analysis to clients. Ensure superior customer service to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Own customer complaints related to Insurance and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Contribute as a team player towards achieving goals based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Provide constructive feedback on I&I products, services, and processes to improve cycle time, reduce costs, or enhance customer satisfaction.

Minimize Insurance attrition.

Operating Environment, Framework, Boundaries, and Working Relationships

  • Collaborate with the I&I Proposition Team to understand products, markets, and opportunities.
  • Interact directly with the I&I department, back office, and teams such as Investment Proposition Team: CCAM, DBC, RCO, TCM, TOC, Legal, and Compliance.
Responsibilities

Problem Solving

  • Be well-versed with CPRA (Client Profiling and Risk Analysis) to understand clients' profiles, needs, and risks.
  • Possess specialized knowledge of all investment & insurance products offered by Mashreq.
  • Work with BB teams to generate referrals for Investment/Insurance needs.
  • Achieve set FER (revenue) targets and promote other cross-sell products.
  • Maintain knowledge of global economic scenarios, investment vehicles, and financial markets. Conduct regular competitive analysis and provide feedback on market offerings, competition, and customer responses.

Decision-Making Authority & Responsibility

  • Responsible for generating all Investment / Insurance FER from the Business Banking channel.
  • Handle end-to-end sales and service for all Investment / Insurance products in Business Banking.
  • Collaborate with both business units and the Investment / Insurance teams to increase wealth product penetration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Excellent communication, profiling, presentation, and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and train others.
  • Knowledge of global economic scenarios and various investment vehicles and financial markets.
  • Graduate with 6-8 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in the UAE. Preferably SCA certified. Must pass UAE R&R, CISI Investment certification, CII, Shariah Certifications, and Bancassurance product sessions.
