Job description

The Insurance Claims Manager oversees the entire claims lifecycle, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processing of insurance claims. This role involves managing claims teams, analyzing claim trends, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing the claims handling process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of insurance policies, exceptional analytical skills, and leadership capabilities to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the claims department.

Review and approve complex or high-value claims.

Ensure claims are processed in accordance with policies and regulatory guidelines.

Investigate disputed claims and coordinate resolution strategies.

Liaise with underwriters, legal teams, and service providers.

Monitor claims trends and prepare analytical reports for management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve claims turnaround times.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and policy changes.

Train and mentor claims adjusters and support staff.

Handle escalations and provide expert guidance on coverage and settlements.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance claims management.

In-depth knowledge of insurance products, policy wording, and regulations.

Experience with claims software and workflow automation tools.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes.
