Job summary

API in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to plan, execute and manage instrumentation and control projects. You will select sensors, transmitters, controllers and automation devices, coordinating procurement and technical evaluations to meet project milestones.

You will oversee installation, calibration and commissioning, troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance and prepare schedules, reports and technical documentation while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in process instrumentation or automation.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems & project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute & manage instrumentation and control projects.
• Select & specify sensors, transmitters, controllers & automation devices.
• Coordinate procurement, vendors & technical evaluations.
• Oversee installation, calibration & commissioning.
• Troubleshoot issues & optimize system performance.
• Prepare schedules, reports & technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISA, IEC, ISO, ATEX, IECEx & safety standards.
