Job summary

Want More in Abu-Dhabi UAE is seeking an Instrument Technician to join our team. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing instruments and systems across our facilities, with duties including on-site calibration and troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will work full-time and be responsible for installing instruments, reading blueprints, ensuring safety standards, and keeping detailed records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as an instrument technician or similar field.
• Knowledgeable in installation, calibration and repair of instruments and systems used on-site.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical circuits with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to the job.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Install new instruments and systems as requested by management/clients.
• Troubleshoot problems with existing systems/instruments on-site.
• Determine necessary repair parts or components for maintenance or repairs.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment/instruments to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure tools/equipment are calibrated and maintained according to guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
