Job summary

Work in USA is seeking an Instrument Technician to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role covers maintenance, installation and calibration of instrumentation equipment across facilities, with hands-on troubleshooting and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics. Reading and understanding engineering instructions is essential for this on-site role in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics or engineering instructions.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation systems, including electrical/electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components.
• Install new instruments and systems following wiring diagrams, schematics and engineering instructions.
• Calibrate instruments using various test equipment such as hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and computers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on existing systems according to manufacturer's specification.
• Read drawings, blueprints and schematics to understand the design of an instrument system.
• Maintain records of all calibration results and documentation of all repairs made to ensure accuracy of data.
