Instrument Technician - Contract Position (Indians Preferred)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Technician to join our team in Sharjah, UAE on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
2. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments or control systems
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure their proper functioning
4. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve complex technical problems
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
6. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on site

Requirements:

1. Indian nationality preferred
2. No prior experience required; training will be provided on the job
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
5. Willingness to work on a contract basis
6. Must have your own accommodations in Sharjah
7. Valid UAE visa or ability to obtain one
8. Ability to communicate effectively in basic English
