Instructor in Computer Science

The UAE University/College of IT/Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites applications for an instructor position. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level. The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed resume, a brief description of current/future research activities, teaching philosophy, and courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Requirements

1. Applicants must have earned MS or Ph.D. degree in the Computer Science or closely related areas.
2. The ability to teach undergraduate courses in CS, Data Science, and/or Software Engineering.
3. Evidence of excellence in teaching and supervision of students at the undergraduate levels.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs.

Preferred Qualification

1. Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related areas.
2. The ability to teach and supervise students at the graduate levels.
3. Industrial experience.
