Job Overview:
This role will focus on conducting both technical training on heavy equipment and safety training programs, ensuring proper documentation, and managing training programs. Involves coordinating with clients, tracking certifications, managing attendance reports, and overseeing transportation logistics. Additionally, requires expertise in managing projects and processes related to heavy equipment, machinery, and safety systems
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Training on Heavy Equipment
- Conduct technical training programs for staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment.
- Develop training materials and manuals specific to heavy equipment, ensuring they are up to date with industry standards.
- Provide training for operators and maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient use of heavy equipment.
- Assess the technical skills of employees and recommend additional training as needed.
Safety Training & Compliance
- Conduct safety training programs for staff, ensuring all employees are adequately trained in safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and the proper use of safety equipment.
- Create and maintain relevant controlled documents for maintenance and safety as needed.
- Ensure all department documents are properly controlled, updated, and compliant with company and client standards.
- Assist in preparing documents required for internal audits.
- Maintain accurate records for training activities, including attendance and certification tracking.
- Track the expiry of certifications for both manpower and equipment, ensuring timely renewals.
Client Coordination & Presentations
- Coordinate with clients on technical and administrative matters.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for clients as required.
Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance
- Loading and Backloading of equipment to ERP.
- Prepare premobilization and demobilization documents for the crew.
- Track the expiry of certifications for each piece of equipment.
- Assist in tracking vehicle maintenance records.
Operations Support
- Provide equipment, personnel certificates, and other requirements prior to mobilization to the rig.
- Coordinate with the operations team to prepare and maintain attendance reports.
- Track incoming and outgoing transportation, including cost analysis, to ensure efficient logistics management.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety processes, practices, and performance.
Other Duties
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.), Business, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, specifically related to hydraulic tools, industrial equipment, or energy solutions or general products
- In-depth knowledge of Enerpac products, systems, and applications in industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Experience with large project sales, including proposals, quotes, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams across the organization.
- Certifications related to industrial equipment or product management
