The Installation Engineer is responsible for the safe, high-quality, and efficient installation of KONE solutions. This role involves adhering to the scope of work, schedule, and budget, ensuring site readiness, leading the installation team, verifying deliverables, coordinating with builders and contractors, and preparing for customer and maintenance handovers.

The role requires following and improving standard working methods aligned with Lean principles, proactively leading teams to prevent disruptions, and ensuring smooth installation processes. The Installation Engineer acts as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders, supporting sales, customer service, and project management as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Site Supervision :

• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers, and address non-conformities.
• Ensure proper use of installation methods and tools, and conduct risk assessments where necessary.
• Prepare sites proactively, verify site execution plans, manage costs, and ensure readiness for handovers.
• Maintain materials delivery schedules and support payment verification.
• Plan and organize installation activities, logistics, and resources.
• Manage material requests, arrivals, and receipts at the site.
• Coordinate handovers with installation teams and clarify scope, timelines, and milestones.
• Facilitate team huddles to promote efficiency and waste reduction.
• Achieve installation targets, manage costs, and ensure quality and compliance.
• Oversee environmental aspects related to installation.

Customer Relationship Management :

• Serve as the main contact for customer site management, ensuring proactive communication and satisfaction.

People, Leadership, and Subcontractor Relations :

• Verify team members' training, certification, and competence.
• Ensure safety, motivation, and well-being of site personnel.
• Identify training needs and manage performance development.
• Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, ensuring commitments are met.

Continuous Improvement :

• Follow and enhance standard working methods based on LEAN principles.
• Motivate teams to identify waste and implement improvements.
• Support team development and share improvement ideas.
• Promote success stories and recognize team efforts.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with elevators and escalators in a similar role.
