Job description

ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, operating across onshore development sites and shallow coastal waters with multiple productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE:
Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority as per management level.
Establishes inspection and testing requirements.
Develops and manages contracts for inspection surveys of existing facilities, setting criteria for selecting inspection contractors.
Reviews budget proposals for refurbishment of vessels, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment.
Collaborates with the Corrosion Engineer to investigate and resolve corrosion-related issues.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
B.Sc. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 5 years of inspection engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
