Job description

ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, operating across onshore development sites and shallow coastal waters with multiple productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE:
Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority as established by management for the position.
Establishes inspection and testing requirements.
Develops and manages contracts for inspection surveys of existing facilities. Sets criteria for selecting inspection contractors.
Reviews budget proposals for the refurbishment of vessels, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment.
Collaborates with the Corrosion Engineer to investigate and resolve corrosion-related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
B.Sc. in Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5 years in inspection engineering within the oil and gas industry.
