Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will focus on driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities to support the sales funnel. You will be responsible for working with technical end users and key purchasing contacts, creating new opportunities that allow field sales representatives to cultivate through the sales cycle to achieve individual and/or team specific goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Field Sales team to drive sales in a specific territory, aligning with one coherent strategy and a collective quota.
  • Manage the sales cycle, from generating new business opportunities through your own prospecting and funnel-building initiatives to nurturing and qualifying leads.
  • Work in tandem with sales and technical colleagues to understand and address customer needs, showing our competitive advantage and unique selling points.
  • Own the process in your territory using Salesforce, from lead identification, to lead qualification, and opportunity creation.
  • Fully qualify marketing and sales leads and support prospecting initiatives and campaigns assigned. Successfully pursue new customers through outbound calling strategies
  • Leverage advanced qualification along with product, services, industry or workflow knowledge to thoroughly qualify and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Prioritize and manage the lead queue volume effectively to maximize new sales opportunities.
  • Assign qualified opportunities to appropriate sales representatives by capturing all relevant customer information and sales activities completely into Salesforce to advance the sales cycle. Leverage internal resources to develop and expand your lead qualification skills.
  • Actively contribute to the development of territory strategy and participate in sales funnel reviews as an essential member of the sales team.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years post university experience & 1-2 years customer facing experience.
  • Experience in prospecting, acquiring new logos, and developing accounts through digital selling.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding opportunity creation targets and sales KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability in team-selling and collaborative efforts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong digital proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric, responsive, and collaborative approach.
  • A strong affinity for technology and innovation.
