Job description

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to be based out of our office in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will identify business opportunities, present the recommended parts for the end user, and define commercial strategy. You will use your technical and commercial capability to understand customers' needs and recommend replacement parts to our customers in refineries and petrochemical plants.

What You Will Do

  1. Prepare quotations within the given time frame.
  2. Process Purchase Orders.
  3. Develop and maintain a long-term profitable relationship with the customers to promote parts replacement and identify ways to anticipate customers’ needs.
  4. Organize and/or participate in customer visits.
  5. Assist the business groups and/or order execution to solve any technical, commercial, or financial issues.
  6. Work closely with the Technical Service Team and support them in preparing proposals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  1. Background in engineering or equivalent (chemical, mechanical).
  2. Full professional proficiency in English.
  3. Organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  4. Maturity, pragmatism, self-sufficiency, and high team spirit are essential qualities to succeed in this fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  5. Customer focus and ability to build relationships with customers.

What Will Put You Ahead

  1. Sales experience with an OEM/EPC/End-user.
  2. Good technical ability – chemical or mechanical engineering degree.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic could be an advantage.
