Job summary

Delverve Consulting Middle East FZE seeks an experienced Arabic-speaking Inpatient Pharmacist to join a premium mental health and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee inpatient pharmacy services, ensure safe dispensing, manage inventory, and support clinical teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Required is a BPharm, DHA/DOH/MOHAP licence, and at least two years in hospital pharmacy, with fluency in Arabic and good English.

Qualifications

• Arabic fluency mandatory and English communication required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent.
• Licence: DHA, DOH or MOHAP Pharmacist licence; general pharmacist licence acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience, inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and dispense prescriptions for inpatient departments.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Inpatient Pharmacist to join a premium mental health and wellness healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring safe medication dispensing, maintaining pharmaceutical inventory, and supporting multidisciplinary clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify and dispense medication prescriptions for inpatient departments.
• Ensure safe and accurate medication preparation, dispensing, storage and administration support.
• Manage controlled medications, including narcotics and psychotropic drugs, in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Monitor medication inventory, expiry dates and stock availability.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication management.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and support medication reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies and medication safety standards.
• Provide medication counselling and guidance to patients and healthcare staff when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOHAP Pharmacist licence.
• Candidates holding a general Pharmacist licence are welcome; a Clinical Pharmacist licence is not mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Experience handling inpatient prescriptions, medication dispensing and controlled medications.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and pharmacy practices.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with good English communication skills.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental health or rehabilitation facilities is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to work in Abu Dhabi and meet DOH licensing requirements.
