Job summary

Kn UAE is seeking an experienced Hydrogeologist to conduct groundwater investigations and hydrogeological assessments in line with UAE requirements. The role involves data interpretation, modeling, report writing, and coordination with authorities and multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate will support infrastructure and development projects in Abu Dhabi, bringing 5+ years of relevant experience, GIS and reporting skills, and a strong understanding of environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology and groundwater studies.
• Strong experience in groundwater investigations, assessments, aquifer studies and evaluations.
• Experience with groundwater monitoring, borehole data, and interpretation of hydrogeological data.
• Knowledge of UAE environmental and groundwater requirements and authority standards.
• Proficiency in hydrogeological, GIS, modeling, and technical reporting tools.
• Strong technical report writing and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater investigations, hydrogeological assessments, and studies for infrastructure projects.
• Plan and support groundwater monitoring, field investigations, borehole investigations, and aquifer assessments.
• Analyze groundwater levels, quality data, aquifer characteristics, and hydrogeological conditions.
• Review borehole logs, geological data, groundwater monitoring results, and related information.
• Prepare hydrogeological models, groundwater assessments, technical reports and recommendations.
• Assess groundwater flow, recharge, discharge, dewatering requirements, and potential impacts.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, geological, environmental, civil, and other teams.
• Review technical studies, drawings, specs, and consultant reports related to groundwater.
• Ensure investigations comply with UAE regulations and project specifications.
• Provide input and support during planning, design, construction and related investigations.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders as required.
