Job summary

Azizi Developments in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Infrastructure to oversee and coordinate infrastructure works, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and HSE standards. You will coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to keep the programme on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–9 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
• Experience with infrastructure contracting or construction companies preferred.
• Proven experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and wet/dry utility works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Good understanding of project planning, progress monitoring, and site documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day infrastructure project activities to ensure timely execution.
• Manage site execution of roads, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, and utility works.
• Review adopted drawings, technical specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, and site teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress against the programme and ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, material approvals, and technical submissions with authorities.
• Prepare and review daily progress reports, material requests and work inspections.
• Identify site issues, delays and risks and implement corrective actions with the project team.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and materials to support efficient execution.
• Coordinate between civil works and utility installations to avoid clashes.
