Job summary

F-Technologies LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead / Platform Owner to drive reliability, security, and automation across our enterprise infrastructure. You will establish ownership, governance, and a proactive engineering culture from day one, owning DR, security posture, and production changes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or enterprise IT operations.
• Proven leadership of production infrastructure in mature enterprises.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server expertise.
• Experience with private cloud/virtualization platforms.
• Experience with HA, backup, DR, incident management, RCA.
• Dubai-based or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure architecture, standards, governance, and operational maturity.
• Lead planning across Linux, Windows, private cloud, application servers, networking, security, containers.
• Define and enforce operating standards.
• Review major changes before implementation.
• Lead decisions for availability, scalability, monitoring, security, backup, DR.
• Convert manual work into automation backlog.
• Oversee virtualization and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Ensure each workload has an owner, backup plan, monitoring, access model, and documentation.
• Prevent VM/container sprawl through governance.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Mentor engineers and ensure runbooks exist.
