Job summary

Blackstone eIT is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to manage hybrid environments, including on-premise and cloud servers, VMs, and network gear. You will implement security, automation, and reliable operations across multiple platforms.

The role requires strong Linux, Windows Server, and UNIX skills, plus experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• System & Network Management: Set up, configure, and manage on-premises and cloud servers, virtual machines, and network hardware like routers and firewalls.
• Security & Compliance: Install security protocols, monitor systems for vulnerabilities, and ensure operational compliance.
• Automation & Cloud Operations: Deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and manage cloud resources (IaaS/PaaS).
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor performance metrics, resolve outages, and perform root-cause analysis on system failures.
• Operating Systems: Strong command of Linux, Windows Server, and UNIX.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus CI/CD pipelines and container platforms like Kubernetes.
• Networking Protocols: Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN configuration.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
