We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure smooth IT operations while safeguarding the company’s data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT system failures, connectivity problems, and security incidents.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access control.
- Provide support for MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), including installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect company data, including firewall management, antivirus updates, and vulnerability patching.
- Identify and mitigate potential security risks through regular system audits and monitoring.
- Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset management.
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related purchases and services.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining office networks and servers.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and network/system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, cloud-based applications, and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Experience implementing and maintaining backup policies and disaster recovery plans.
- Ability to identify and respond to phishing, malware, and other cyber threats.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
